Psychological assessments
Dr Garrett provides expert psychological assessment and consultation including attendance at professionals' meetings and the provision of evidence in Court. Her specialisms are criminal work (especially risk assessment and mental health cases) and child care work (pre-proceedings and public law cases) - assessment of parents and older children (teenagers).
As you will see from her CV, Dr Garrett is experienced in the provision of reports and oral evidence to the Criminal and Family Courts, particularly the latter. She is trained to undertake psychopathy assessments using the PCL-R, as well as the so-called structured professional judgement risk assessments such as the HCR-20 (V3) and the RSVP.

Teaching
Dr Garrett is an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Birmingham and has extensive experience of providing teaching and training within NHS, Social Services,University and Probation settings. She can provide on-site teaching and training to multi-professional or uni-profesional audiences, according to the needs of your organisation.
